Halal scanner and checker

Check What the Ingredients Suggest—and What Still Needs Halal Verification.

Scan or search a product to identify known prohibited ingredients, source-dependent ingredients, Halal Watch context, and separate certification evidence.

Halal assessment is evidence-aware and deliberately limited

inTegraful applies deterministic Halal rules to the reviewed ingredient list. Pork and other clearly prohibited materials can support a direct negative ingredient assessment. Ingredients whose status depends on source, method, or supplier are named so the user knows what to verify.

When no known conflict appears, the result is Potentially Halal. That wording is intentional. An ingredient list cannot reveal every processing aid, alcohol used during production, facility practice, shared line, or supplier-specific source.

Halal Watch records and manufacturer-specific component records can provide supporting context. They do not become product certification unless the exact product, supplier relationship, status, and evidence are established. Independent certification remains a separate, visible layer.

Known prohibited

The result names the conflicting ingredient and explains why it affects the ingredient-level assessment.

Source-dependent

The result names ingredients such as gelatin, glycerin, enzymes, or flavors when their source is not established.

No known conflict

Potentially Halal means the reviewed names did not reveal a known conflict; it does not mean certified.

What this check cannot prove

  • An ingredient name does not identify the exact supplier or raw-material source.
  • An ingredient list does not reveal every processing aid, facility condition, shared machine, or cross-contact risk.
  • An ingredient assessment is not independent certification and does not replace a current certifier, manufacturer, regulator, or qualified medical professional.
  • Formulations and labels can change, so users should check the current package and supporting source date.

Each standard has different evidence requirements. inTegraful keeps the results separate and links every utility back to the same product and ingredient network.

Questions people ask

What does Potentially Halal mean?

No known Halal conflict was found in the reviewed ingredient names. It is not a certification or guarantee about the facility, process, supplier, or current formula.

Does Halal Watch data certify the finished product?

Not by itself. It can support ingredient or manufacturer context, but finished-product certification requires an exact current relationship and qualifying evidence.

Why can the result change?

Formulas, suppliers, evidence, and certification status can change. inTegraful versions the assessment and preserves source dates and history.
