Transparent methodology

Ingredient Assessment and Certification Answer Different Questions.

inTegraful shows what reviewed ingredient names suggest, what independent evidence supports, and what neither layer can establish from the available information.

Why inTegraful refuses to turn uncertainty into certification

Ingredient assessment can identify known conflicts and source-dependent materials. It can also say that no known conflict was found. Those are useful findings, but they apply only to the reviewed names and the evidence available at the time of analysis.

Certification answers a broader question. It can involve supplier documentation, formulation review, processing aids, cleaning procedures, equipment, facility controls, audits, testing, chain of custody, and ongoing oversight. A product checker does not observe those facts merely by reading a label.

inTegraful therefore stores assessment results separately from qualification evidence. Halal uses deterministic rules and bounded Halal Watch or manufacturer context. The other standards use bounded structured analysis plus server-side guards, including a rule that Organic and Non-GMO cannot become positive from ingredient names alone.

Every persisted assessment is versioned against an ingredient fingerprint. When the reviewed ingredient set changes, the old result remains historical and a new assessment can be created. This preserves auditability without rewriting the evidence that produced an earlier result.

Potentially compatible

No known conflict appeared in the reviewed ingredient names, but processing and certification remain unverified.

Definite ingredient conflict

A known prohibited material is present in the reviewed list; the product-level ingredient assessment explains it directly.

Verification needed

The result identifies the ingredient or evidence layer that a supplier, manufacturer, certifier, or current package must resolve.

What this check cannot prove

  • An ingredient name does not identify the exact supplier or raw-material source.
  • An ingredient list does not reveal every processing aid, facility condition, shared machine, or cross-contact risk.
  • An ingredient assessment is not independent certification and does not replace a current certifier, manufacturer, regulator, or qualified medical professional.
  • Formulations and labels can change, so users should check the current package and supporting source date.

Explore every product integrity check

Each standard has different evidence requirements. inTegraful keeps the results separate and links every utility back to the same product and ingredient network.

Questions people ask

Why show both Product qualifications and Ingredient checks?

They describe different evidence layers. Qualifications reflect package or official support; Ingredient checks explain what the reviewed names suggest.

Can the assessment change?

Yes. A new reviewed ingredient set or newer rule version can produce a new immutable snapshot while preserving the historical one.

What is the safest interpretation of Unknown?

Unknown means there is not enough current, specific, trustworthy evidence to make the stronger claim.
